Dave Bradley
central defender
1978-1980

David was an ex-England schoolboy, having joined Rovers in the summer of 1978 from Manchester United in a £10,000 move. He had joined United from school as an apprentice in April 1974, signing as a professional in January 1975, and although he never made their first team, was a consistently outstanding player in their Central League side. He became an England schoolboy international whilst at Old Trafford. United then loaned him to Wimbledon shortly before his transfer to Belle Vue. Rovers sold him to Bury in August 1980.
